One of the leading high-end Electronic Security Solutions across Africa which works across the Education, Logistics, Health, Hospitality, Mining, Property, and Gaming industries is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Executive.
This role will be a 70/30 split between expanding the current portfolio of clients and bringing in of new business. The Ideal candidate will be someone whom has already been in a Technical Sales position working across the Security industry or someone who is currently in a Technician position who would like to make a change in career within the same industry.
Your key responsibilities:
- Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders within set geographic boundaries
- Conclude sales of the company’s range of Fire Detection, Public Address, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Software and Electronic Safety products
- Conduct sales calls, schedule “local” promotional work and regularly, with discipline track sales activities using lead and project tracking software database
- Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives in coordination with the National Maintenance Manager
- Prepare proposals and quotes for prospective customers
Our required expertise:
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales / target driven environment
- At least 3 years’ experience in Enterprise Fire Detection, Access Control & Electronic security solutions
- Solid understanding of Fire Detection including SANS 10139
- Alternatively, extensive experience in selling enterprise technology solutions
